There is a lot of research on what women want, and a wide range of gender equity programs based on the findings. Employers facing skill shortages and talent wars recognise the need for flexible working arrangements and part time work to attract and keep women in the workforce. But what do men actually think about their role at work and at home? Do they want the work-life balance more often seen as something women want? Do they feel they can take advantage of flexible working? And if they don’t, will women continue to miss out on their fair share of senior positions? The 100% Project set out to explore these questions in this research study ‘Men at Work: What they want and why it matters to women’.
